ESLÖV, SWEDEN — DISAB Group, a Swedish vacuum technology manufacturer with 50 years of industry expertise, has acquired Vacuum Truck Supplies (VTS), a Mansfield, Victoria-based designer and manufacturer of vacuum trucks, trailers, and portable units serving Australia's liquid waste, mining, and hydro excavation industries. The deal, signed April 30, 2026, marks DISAB's entry into the Australian market and further extends the Swedish group's international reach.
Founded in 1998 by Rod Glue, Vacuum Truck Supplies has spent 25 years building a strong domestic reputation for intelligent design, rugged durability, and equipment that delivers long-term return on investment. VTS manufactures a full range of premium vacuum equipment designed specifically to keep operators on the job — built to be easy to use, easy to maintain, and capable of withstanding the demands of Australian conditions across liquid waste, hydro excavation, and mining applications. The company is led by CEO Adam Johnston and COO Sandra Glue, who have been central to the company's growth alongside founder Rod Glue.
DISAB Group has committed to maintaining the Mansfield site and the existing VTS team, and intends to continue developing Vacuum Truck Supplies as a standalone brand in the Australian market — following the same model it has applied successfully with its DISAB-TELLA and ROLBA brands in other international markets. For Australian customers, the acquisition means continued regional service and proximity, now backed by the resources and engineering depth of a global vacuum technology group.
