St. Louis-based water infrastructure giant adds 30-year-old Florida specialist with deep roots in vacuum excavation and trenchless services
Azuria Water Solutions has acquired TeleVac South, a Pompano Beach, Florida-based contractor with more than three decades of experience in sewer and storm drain services across the Southeast, including a robust portfolio of vactor and hydro excavation operations.
Founded by Dennis Simmons in 1993, TeleVac South has built its reputation on a comprehensive lineup of services that will be familiar to the vacuum excavation industry: vactor operations, hydro excavating, lift station cleaning, root cutting, manhole rehabilitation, and smoke testing. The company also performs laser profiling to Florida DOT standards and offers trenchless pipe repair through sectional cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) technology using the PipePatch system.
The TeleVac South team brings more than 50 combined years of experience tackling infiltration in sewer and storm drainage systems. The company uses CCTV to televise pipelines and pinpoint problems, then works closely with engineers to develop targeted repair solutions, an approach that pairs well with Azuria's broader push into digital and technology-enabled infrastructure services.
All TeleVac teams will remain based in Pompano Beach under the Azuria umbrella.
For Azuria, a company that has been delivering pipeline infrastructure solutions since 1971 and today offers more than 1,200 products and services to municipalities across North America, the acquisition deepens its presence in the Southeast while adding specialized vacuum excavation and CIPP capabilities to its service mix.
