The Fine Print
Official Rules & Eligibility
- Eligibility. Open to companies and individuals in the hydro excavation industry who are 18 or older. Submissions close June 26, 2026.
- Editorial feature, not a sweepstakes. This is a call for photos to be considered for an editorial feature in the July America 250 issue of Hydrovac Magazine. There is no purchase necessary, no entry fee, and no prize. Our editorial team selects which photos to feature at its sole discretion, and not all submissions will be published.
- Ownership & rights. By submitting, you represent and warrant that you own or have all necessary rights to the images you submit, and that you have obtained consent from every identifiable person depicted (or, for minors, from their parent or legal guardian) to submit the images and have them published in print and online.
- License to publish. If you grant permission, you give Hydrovac News a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, edit, and display your submitted photos in Hydrovac Magazine and our related promotional channels, in print and online, with appropriate credit where practical. You retain ownership of your photos.
- Content standards. Submissions must be your original or properly licensed work and must not be unlawful, defamatory, or infringe anyone's rights. We may decline or remove any submission at our discretion.
- Privacy. The information you provide is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You may request removal of your submission at any time by emailing media@hydrovacnews.com.
